This belle epoque-style hotel is on the beautiful tree-lined Paseo Montejo, Merida's principal avenue. All the rooms are located off a large, elegant lobby. Facilities include a shopping center, two restaurants, bar, pool, tennis court, and a health club with saunas, steam room (men only), whirlpool, and massage. Guest services include a concierge, tour desk, babysitting, and laundry/dry cleaning. The hotel is about seven minutes from downtown and 25 minutes from the airport. Large, comfortable guestrooms with views of the avenues have tile floors, well-equipped bathrooms, cable television, telephone, dataport, air-conditioning, coffeemaker, hairdryer, minibar, and safe.
