Sheraton Buganvilias Resort and Convention Center, located beachside about 10 minutes from downtown Puerto Vallarta, has re-opened its doors with a new, contemporary look and feel after a multi-million dollar renovation in 2003. Guests arrive at a magnificent open-air lobby with breathtaking views of the ocean. La Villita, serving Mexican specialties for breakfast and lunch, faces the ocean and is crowned with a spectacular 16-foot thatched-roof palapa. Every Thursday guests can enjoy a Mexican Fiesta, with mariachi music, folkloric show, mexican buffet, open bar, raffles and contests.
